Sauteed Rice with Chorizo

Rice is a dish that should always be on the table but should not be a boring dish, we share this exquisite recipe and very easy to prepare.

Ingredients for 4 people:

• 1 pound of rice
• 150 grams of sausage
• Paprika
• Onion
• Carrot
• Garlic
• Parsley
• Olive oil
• Salt

Preparation:

Cook the rice in a traditional way and when it is al dente remove from heat and reserve, if it was left with any excess water you should drain it.
In a pan add two tablespoons of oil, cut the onion and garlic into small pieces and sauté, when softened add the paprika cut into julienne, the carrot cut into small cubes and the sausage chopped into small pieces, mix and let them saute Until they soften. Season with salt to taste.
Add the rice and stir so that it mixes with the rest of the ingredients and the fat that the sausage gives off, continue to saute for 5 more minutes and rectify the seasoning.
Serve and decorate with some finely chopped parsley.
